Drawing hands and fingers has always been a nightmare for me. So I decided to build one. Seemed easier.

 

 

The first version (and final) version of “the hand” was built using 5 servos and and arduino pro mini.

 

 

I did a test replacing the arduino with a raspberry pi nano and and MYO Armband (no longer produced) but the sensitivity of the muscle sensors was way quite lousy. Third idea was to test the hand with a leap motion controller, but the RPI did not have enough power for the image recognition…
